Liver Tests

Liver function tests (LFTs), also known as liver chemistries, help diagnose liver damage and related diseases. These tests analyze blood samples to measure specific proteins, enzymes, and substances produced by the liver, providing insights into liver health. Common components measured include bilirubin, total protein, albumin, globulin, and enzymes like ALT, ALP, GGT, LDH, and AST, which indicate liver damage.
